Big Family News......A WEDDING THIS FALL!!!

It might not be the best picture taken but it does make you smile when you see it. Jason and Emily are engaged to be married the date isn't set yet but sometime in Sept. As you can tell they have alot of fun together and the best part is that we love Emily to death and all of the sisters have given Jason their thumbs up approval. She is a sweet heart and full of fun. She can hold her own with Jason and I must say I think they are very cute together.

We have already met her parents and had a great visit with them. Jason proposed after the fireworks season was over. They have been busy making plans and getting things ready for a weeding in less than 8 weeks now. I believe it will be in the Logan Temple.

We love you Emily. Can't wait for the big day to happen.

Tammi says wow our family is getting smaller yet at the same time getting bigger. Tammi and Emily were up till 3:00am the other night talking so poor Emily is already losing sleep!

Jason has been busy getting all of his things moved to Logan. He will be moving into the apartment they will have after they get married at the end of this month. WEL-COME to the family Emily!

A Precious Gift -- The Gift of Life

This past week our family had the opportunity to meet our Donor family. It was a wonderful experience for all of us and one that will remain close to our hearts for a very long time. Their names are Sandy and Jerry Clutter from the Pittsburgh area. They have a wonderful family and we also got to meet a daughter that came with them, her name is Shannon and her her little boy named Hunter. We had a fun time with them. We missed not getting to meet another daughter that was home expecting a new baby any time now. Her name is Hope.

We exchanged gifts and learned more about my donor ..Jerryd. He was a remarkable young man and you can feel the love his family had for him. Enclosed are a few of the pictures taken while there at Intermountain Donor Services.
I think most of us would agree that it was a very nice meeting and we all came away feeling gratitude in our hearts for such a precious gift. It comes at the 81/2 mark of the Transplant and KSL will be doing a special piece about it July 23rd. So for those that would like to see it go to KSL.com and you should be able to bring it up either that day or the next day. It was suppose to air on the 23rd probably in the evening so it may not be available until the 24th on the computer.
This first meeting marks the beginning of a very good relationship we now have with a very special family. We hope and pray that our meeting will add additional comfort for Sandy and Jerry and their family. What a great thing it was to meet them.
