Visiting Nanna's and Bump Pa's for a few Days

Jessica and Kayson came up to celebrate Bump pa's 50th birthday and surprised us all by getting here a day early...which I have to say was a very nice surprise and we very much appreciated her coming up early.

As always, Kayson didn't lack any attention and had us all laughing most of the time he was here. We loved having them. Kayson actually got to stay with us a few extra days while Jessica returned home to get some things done without Kayson around. Jordan and Jayme were kept plenty busy playing with monkey. He loves to have them play and throw him in the air.

After an exhausting afternoon of hard playing, of course in this family there has to be time for a movie and Kayson finds the right spot to watch "Lady and the Tramp" Jordans loves the snuggle and I think everyone tries to get these precious moments with the little guy because he doesn't always give them. You have to take them when you can, no matter where or when, even on the floor like this. I should point out the blanket. He loves this blanket for some reason.

Kayson and his mom decide to make some cookies while Jessica is home. He loves cookies and really gets into it.

Covered in flour Jess and Kayson pose for a few photos.

Jessica loves being a mom and enjoys making cookies with Kayson. They have fun together. Frankly speaking, not just because she is my daughter but I have to say she takes after her own mother at being such a great mom.

Kayson knows how to throw dough.

Cookies are finished except for the eating by bedtime these will be gone no doubt.

Meal time was just exciting for all of us watching all the facial expressions Kayson can come with. He is beginning to feed him self very well and hates to get dirty fingers just like his mother did at the same age. He likes to be cleaned up as soon as possible and we love watching him say prayers for meal time. You know your grand son is being trained right when they pray this early.

Unfortunately there is also a time to say goodbye and in this picture saying goodbye to Nanna was hard to do. He loves coming to Nannas house and playing with all the toys and two of his aunts that almost cry seeing him go.
Going home just wasn't the thing he wanted to do here. He was having way to much fun and will miss us all I'm sure but not near as much as we will miss him. Tammi took the girls and Kayson and met up with his mom and Dad in snowville.
We can't wait for him to come again
See Ya Monkey!
